Hintergrund dafür sind die drei für mangelnde Zivilcourage stehenden Affen, die die Welt um sich herum ignorieren, ebenso wie die Virushepatitis von der Welt ignoriert wird. World Hepatitis Alliance

Die World Hepatitis Alliance ist eine nicht-staatliche Dachorganisation mit 165 Patientengruppen in 66 Ländern. Sie repräsentiert 500 Millionen Virushepatitis-Patienten weltweit hat das Ziel, den Stimmen der Patienten Gehör zu verleihen, um Bewusstseinsbildung für die Virushepatitis zu betreiben und umfassende Hepatitis-Strategien in allen Ländern zu etablieren. Die World Hepatitis Alliance konnte bereits einige große Erfolge für Menschen mit Hepatitis verbuchen. So konnte im Namen der Patientengemeinschaft eine WHO-Resolution zu Hepatitis erreicht werden. Neben besserer Sensibilisierung, Vorsorge, Betreuung, Unterstützung und dem Zugang zu Behandlung hat die Organisation das Ziel, mit den Regierungen zusammenarbeiten, um diese Krankheiten zu besiegen.
