AlloSource Named Colorado's Top Healthcare Company

CENTENNIAL, Colo., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- AlloSource, one of the nation's largest non-profit providers of skin, bone and soft tissue allografts for use in surgical procedures and the world's largest processor of live cellular bone growth substitutes has been named Colorado's top healthcare company as judged by the ColoradoBiz Top Company awards program.

Last year, as it has each year for the past decade, AlloSource saved and enhanced the lives of more people in more communities than ever before through the distribution of its tissue allografts. In addition to giving back to its communities through its tissue, AlloSource distributed its excess revenues to non-profit organ procurement organizations, so they could fulfill organ and tissue donation education, as well as donor family service programs. AlloSource also dedicated itself to other activities that benefit the industry and increase awareness for tissue donation, including sponsoring industry events and education, holding leadership positions within the nonprofit organ and tissue community and leading PR efforts in support of organ and tissue donation.

Top Company winners were announced September 16th at an awards celebration in the Seawell Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. In 2008 and 2009 AlloSource was a finalist in the Top Company program.
