Allazo Health CEO at Wharton Health Care Conference Shows how Predictive Analytics and Individualized Intervention Targeting Promote Medication Adherence.
Date:2/15/2013

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Allazo Health's CEO, Clifford Jones will be presenting at the 19th annual Wharton Health Care Conference today. Other speakers include Bruce Broussard , President and CEO of Humana; Gary L. Gottlieb , MD, President and CEO of Partners HealthCare; and Kent Thiry , Co-Chairman and CEO of DaVita.

During the presentation, Jones will discuss details of Allazo Health's AllazoEngine™ and share data on the impact it has had on improving patients' medication adherence.

Allazo Health's AllazoEngine, is an analytics service that provides an effective and cost-efficient solution to the complex problem of medication non-adherence for health insurers, pharmacy benefit management companies, integrated delivery networks, and accountable care organizations. Allazo Health's unique proprietary technology not only predicts which patients will be non-adherent to each of their medications, but also predicts how individual patients will respond to various types of intervention efforts. Intervention methods, for example calls from a pharmacist when patients start new medications, informational mailings, or automated calls when patients are late to refill their medication, impact medication adherence in different ways for different patients.  By analyzing patient data with its patent pending AllazoEngine, Allazo Health provides clients with an optimal medication adherence intervention strategy targeted to individual patients.

AllazoEngine's analytics financially benefits clients by raising adherence program ROI, reducing medical spending, reducing readmissions, increasing HEDIS scores, and improving Medicare Star ratings.

Jones' experience includes building the Pharmacy Advisor medication adherence program that won awards from URAC and the Pharm
