Date:9/11/2012

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa., Sept. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Air Products (NYSE: APD) recently signed a contract to supply its integrated oxy-fuel solution to Jinxin Glass in Jiyuan, Henan Province, China to help Jinxin reduce emissions and improve productivity and quality in its glass production.

The Jiyuan government has set challenging emission reduction targets for all industries including the glass manufacturing industry.

The integrated oxy-fuel solution includes the supply of Cleanfire® HRi™  oxy-fuel burners and a PRISM® vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) oxygen generator which will supply reliable and economical oxygen. In addition, Air Products provides furnace commissioning and related on-site consulting services to Jinxin.

Richard Huang, Air Products' Asia industry manager for Glass, remarked, "Air Products is a leader in oxy-fuel combustion technology, helping different types of glass manufacturers address increasingly stringent environmental regulations, as well as improve productivity and product quality.
