Date:10/8/2009

BRIDGEWATER, N.J., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Health Media, LLC (AHM) has acquired Ephikacy, LLC, the Chicago-based provider of marketing services and related technology for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.

Advanced Health Media is the industry leader in speaker bureau management, supplying automation and compliance management systems to more than 50 pharmaceutical companies and coordinating promotional events for more than 200 brands. The addition of Ephikacy's product and service line expands AHM's offering for marketers and brand teams. Ephikacy's marketing-focused services include speaker bureau branding and design, tactical integration with centralized program registration capabilities, customer data management and performance analytics. The AHM and Ephikacy combination creates a single organization that can satisfy the creative, tactical and information needs of a marketing team within the framework of PFX(TM), AHM's enterprise system for controlled healthcare professional (HCP) interactions and organizational compliance that is now used by the majority of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies to automate and control promotion and HCP interaction.

"With this acquisition, we have created a full-service company that can deliver organizational compliance to our corporate customers without asking brand teams to sacrifice creativity or control over their promotional tactics," said Kevin McMurtry, CEO of Advanced Health Media. "The integration of AHM and Ephikacy will ensure streamlined and seamless compliance while enabling better control and visibility for marketers."

"We are excited to be part of AHM and very enthusiastic about the combined capabilities and resources this acquisition brings to the marketplace," said Ephikacy co-founder Paul Fitzpatrick. "Pharmaceutical marketers are looking for the broad, integrated services that the AHM - Ephikacy partnership delivers." The newly formed partnership
