Date:7/7/2011

BRENTWOOD, Tenn., July 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Health IT Services Group (HITSG) announced today that its core product, Acumen nEHR, has surpassed 1,000 nephrology providers this month, continuing its growth as the largest Electronic Health Record (EHR) provider for the nephrology specialty.  Built by nephrologists for nephrologists, the Acumen nEHR enables all providers within a care team to access and share patient information, so that regardless of who treats the patient, care delivered at each stage is consistently based on real-time clinical data.

Providing anytime, anywhere access to patient data via the Internet, Acumen nEHR not only provides the latest clinical data, charts and patient information, but also ensures that the data is HIPAA compliant, meets all national standards and provides nephrologists with a real-time clinical information and meaningful use dashboard to assist in care decisions.  In December 2010, Acumen nEHR, version 6.0, was 2011/2012 ONC-ATCB Certified for meaningful use and is a CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR. In addition to receiving these prestigious industry certifications, the Acumen product received a five-star usability rating, the highest possible score that can be achieved.
