Acsis Addresses Questions on the Modern Supply Chain
Date:7/25/2014

MARLTON, N.J., July 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Acsis Inc., the market leader for supply chain visibility, brand protection and serialization solutions, has recently posted an article, "Future of Running Your Business" that addresses current and future needs for companies' extended supply chain, and explains how solutions for the old supply chain model no longer work today.  The article explains how today's advances in technology, including the growth of mobile technology, machine to machine (M2M) connectivity, and the Internet, have established a new global enterprise business model, and with the lack of centralized operations, companies fear losing control of their brand protection initiatives.

According to Acsis, companies need to adopt a new, cloud-based approach to gather all of the data being produced in their new supply networks from both internal and external manufacturing and distribution processes.  Acsis goes on to explain how there are new technologies available to support today's multi-level, global supply network.

"It is important for companies to understand that in today's dynamic supply network environment, current ERP systems are going to be challenged to keep up with the pace of change required to achieve integration and visibility across the supply network," explained John DiPalo, Chief Strategy Officer for Acsis. "This new article explains what the new global supply network looks like and the shortcomings in the old supply chain model, and provides tips on what to look for in a new solution."

Along with the new article, Acsis has also produced a short video that helps companies understand the necessity of cloud-based data and process management.
