200 Pharma Customers to Attend ChemOutsourcing September 17-19, 2013, NJ, USA
Date:8/13/2013

TEANECK, N.J., Aug. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- ChemOutsourcing today announced that upwards of 200 Pharma customers from large, small, emerging, and virtual companies will be on hand at the 2013 show in Long Branch, NJ.   Many of the customers are executive managers at the world's largest companies, like Merck, Pfizer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and GlaxoSmithKline, commented Mark Alexay, the event organizer and President of Apaporis, the company that owns the show.

"This year has also seen increasing numbers of attendees coming from the Biotech hub between Boston and Cambridge, MA", remarked Alexay, "with the close proximity of so many suppliers attending the show a big attractant.  CRO's and CMO's from all over the world attend the show to meet their customers;  Custom chemistry companies supplying API's, intermediates, and starting materials come from over 20 countries in North America, Europe, and Asia. If you work anywhere in the USA it's the best place to meet such a large representation of your supply chain".

Alexay went on to add "We are pleased to see such a variety of smaller pharmaceutical companies attending, too, because they clearly represent the future of the industry.  There are hundreds just in the USA, and with funding on the upswing, many are able to expand their small molecule drug discovery and development efforts. This is a welcome event after a long industry financing drought.  Early stage companies are getting money and this also helps Contract Research Organizations (CRO's) contribute their expertise in Drug Discovery and early stage clinical development."

ChemOutsourcing is an annual Pharma-focused chemistry event that takes place every September at the Jersey Shore.  It attracts medicinal and process chemists from pharmaceutical companies working with CRO's and CMO's  striving to bring new human therapeutics to market. www.chemoutsourcing.com
