"Make a Change" with OstoSolutions at the 2013 UOAA National Conference

TUCSON, Ariz., July 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- OstoSolutions, maker of the patent-pending OstoSolutions™  Ostomy Pouch Disposal Seal, today announced its participation at the United Ostomy Associations of America (UOAA) Fourth Annual Conference, August 7-10, Jacksonville, Florida, in booth 308.  Ostomates of all ages will have the opportunity to Make a Change™ and learn about the only method on the market today that seals the contents of used ostomy pouches in a 100 percent odor-proof manner. There are a range of sizes available to fit different pouch brands, including Hollister, ConvaTec and Coloplast.

"The OstoSolutions Ostomy Pouch Disposal Seal allows me to remove my ostomy pouch in places where before I would have been worried about the odor escaping when I disposed of the pouch in a public/private disposal setting," said Jim Moore, Jacksonville, Arkansas.  "Now, I can remove my pouch, snap the OstoSolutions pouch seal on in no time at all, and then dispose of it when and where I choose without worrying about odor. This frees me up to join in many activities that used to require much more planning around odor concerns – and that I sometimes avoided entirely. I'm very pleased with the effectiveness of the seal!"

The lightweight seal, made of recycled plastic, is simply inserted into the coupling ring opening of any two-piece used closed-end ostomy pouch or used drainable ostomy pouch with "clipless" tail closure technology. A toilet is not nee ded for changing the pouch, and by enabling odor-proof disposal, the Ostomy Pouch Disposal Seal ensures discretion no matter where the change is made.

"This is a terrific opportunity for UOAA members and other conference attendees to learn about a product that I know first-hand greatly improves quality of life for anyone living with an ostomy," said Johnnie Cason, founder of OstoSolutions, inventor and user of the Ostomy Pouch Disposal Seal. "A day of golf or a game of tennis, an afternoon out on a boat, going out to a leisurely dinner – by being able to  make a change in any private setting, while eliminating disposal odor concerns, this simple product has brought these activities and more back into my life and the lives of our customers."

The OstoSolutions Ostomy Pouch Disposal Seal costs just pennies a day for peace of mind. For more information and to place an order for yourself or your organization, please visit, call 888-549-3555, or email Join OstoSolutions on Facebook, Twitter and  LinkedIn and "Make A Change™."
