Description	The Abbott m1000 sample preparation platform is an efficient system to purify and extract RNA and DNA from patient samples using novel magnetic particle technology. It provides high throughput, fully automated sample preparation and is cabable of processing 48 samples in approximately 2 hours for a 1 ml sample volume. This platform may be used to prepare samples for use with Analyte Specific Reagents (ASRs) for Hepatitis C Virus Genotyping and Hepatitis C Virus Quantitative analysis.
