Description Sonys new XCD-SX910CR digital camera incorporates a Progressive Scan 1/2" CCD with square pixels and offers excellent sensitivity (1280 (H) x 960 (V) SXGA. Whats more the XCD-SX910CR uses a CCD with a color mask (commonly called a "Bayer filter") and outputs the "raw color" pixel values in 8 or 10 bit to be converted to a color image on the computer. The color conversion that takes place in the computer is supported by Sonys new IEEE 1394 software and most 3rd party Firewire (IIDC) compatible software.
