Description These specialty Eraser instruments have been designed to provide the ophthalmic surgeon with the right tool for situations requiring precise hemostasis. Medtronic recently introduced a series of 25 gauge intraocular, bipolar, diathermy instruments. These instruments provide discrete treatment of target tissues for fine-tip hemostasis or controlled drainage retinotomy, without compromise in power delivery. The 25 gauge family includes straight, and curved 150, and 135 designs. These curved products maximize tip visibility, instrument rotation, range of anterior reach, and approach to target tissue.
