Features VS II system automates those tasks required to generate secondary sample tubes: aliquoting, bar code labeling, sorting and serum tube archiving. It prepares up to 780 tubes per hour for the placement on laboratorys analytical workstations or for the archive. It can be used alone or in combination with other task targeted systems such as the PSD 1 system to provide a customized approach to pre- and post-analytical sample handling. Automates time-consuming sample aliquoting, and sorting. Sorts both primary and secondary tubes with positive sample identification. Decreases the number of sample transfers by sorting directly into Roche/Hitachi 5 position rack, Cobas Core and Cobas Integra racks. Ensures sample integrity with clot detection and low liquid level detection. Separates questionable samples to an exception rack to quickly identify problematic. Reduces the safety risks of handling biological specimens. Reduces the human error associated with manual sample processing and labeling. Up to 780 primary tubes, sorting only, up to 360 primary tubes with one aliquot.
Description The Roche Diagnostics Task Targeted Automation VS II is a state-of-the-art automation of pre- and post-analytical steps in the laboratories: decapping, sorting / archiving of primary tubes and aliquoting into bar code labeled secondary tubes. Fully scalable and extendable to future needs. Works in a standalone mode.
