| Description | EDTA K2 / gel tubes are for the examination of EDTA plasma for molecular diagnostics and for viral load determinations. HIV and HCV in whole blood remain stable at room temperature for up to 72 hours. For optimal results, it is recommended to centrifuge EDTA K2 / gel tubes within 6 hours following blood collection. |
