    • Description The TwinFix™ Ti Quick-T Fixation System is a single-step tissue repair method that can be used for primary or secondary tissue fixation. This through tendon technique utilizes the proven TwinFix Ti Soft Tissue Anchor combined with our pretied knot technology, coupling the anchor to a high strength T bar made of PEEK-OPTIMA® LT3 polymer from Invibio. The result is a secure, adjustable fixation system that can be used wherever a larger tissue footprint is needed.

    The TwinFix Ti Quick-T Fixation System provides the arthroscopic surgeon the unique ability to create multi-row repair constructs arthroscopically, that more closely resemble the repairs found in open or mini-open repairs. The multi-row fixation method using the TwinFix Ti Quick-T Fixation System is a higher strength construct than single row fixation. Using the TwinFix Ti Quick-T Fixation System increases the tissue-to-bone contact area, recreating the natural footprint of the rotator cuff.

    The low profile T component is delivered though our standard anchor delivery system, negating the need to use special cannulas, and the T provides a 10 mm tissue bridge once deployed and secured to the tissue surface. The TwinFix Ti Quick-T Fixation System is available with both 5.0 mm and 3.5 mm TwinFix Ti soft tissue anchors. Simple technique, low profile, secure fixation, and procedure flexibility, only available from Smith & Nephew.
