Description Aplicare's Saturated Swabsticks are packaged in easy open, single-use foil-laminated pouches. Each 4 inch Swabstick is saturated with precisely the correct amount of solution. Each package is terminally sterilized, ensuring the safest possible product for the patient. Iodine Tincture, 2% USP Saturated Swabsticks are an excellent combination of ethyl alcohol and iodine creating a potent disinfectant. It is recommended by the CDC as a highly effective topical antiseptic. The combination of alcohol and iodine facilitates fast drying and rapid action. After drying, the iodine on the skin should be removed with alcohol to prevent skin irritation or burning.
