ProductsThinsite
Company Art Optical Contact Lens, Inc.
Item Thinsite
Features Junctionless aspheric front and back surfaces reduce lid interaction and lens awareness for easier, faster adaptation. Increased EOP leads to better corneal health. Reduced lens mass provides increased oxygen performance compared to standard-thickness designs. The reduced lens mass also allows for greater centering of the optical zone. Stability and flexural resistance of standard center thickness designs for ultimate durability. A consistently thinner overall lens profile in all minus powers reduces lens awareness.
Description Thinsite is designed using sophisticated lathing techniques, intrinsically permeable polymers and advanced mathematical concepts. Thinsite lenses feature a center thickness of just 0.08 across all minus power ranges. While all plus powered Thinsite lenses maintain a 30% decrease in center thickness over standard designs. The unique design eliminates stress points to reduce the chance of lens warpage or flexure.
