Description The proprietary VNUS Closure System for endovenous occlusion of varicose veins combines a proprietary radiofrequency (RF) generator with a family of disposable catheters to occlude diseased veins using temperature-controlled radiofrequency (RF) energy. With VNUS ClosurePlus, Closure RFS and ClosurePlex catheters, physicians can treat incompetent saphenous, perforator and tributary vessels with minimal post-operative pain and bruising. Numerous published randomized and multi-center clinical studies, now with 5 year follow-up results, verify the effectiveness and durability of the VNUS Closure procedure (www.vnus.com/navigation/clinicallibrary.htm).
