Description The REFLEXION 1st MPJ IMPLANT SYSTEM is a unique three-piece implant system for the primary reconstruction of the 1st metatarsal phalangeal joint resulting from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, traumatic arthritis or revision of a previous arthroplasty. The implant is designed to achieve three goals: pain relief, superior function and longevity. With a cone in cone implant design, the REFLEXION SYSTEM provides inherent geometric stability and secures bone to implant seating. Using simplified instrumentation, the implant is placed using a reaming technique to increase implant to cortical wall interface.
