  • Suregrip Sole - The TSBs Suregrip Sole features a unique diamond tread that provides universal grip on uneven terrain and slick surfaces. Compared to other walking boot treads, the Suregrip Sole enhances patient safety.
  • Trueform Uprights - The TSBs Trueform Uprights are fabricated from high grade aluminum that you can custom form to the leg. Compared to walking boots with molded shells that cant be adjusted or custom fitted, the TSB with Trueform Uprights will help you optimize your patients stability.
  • Breatheasy Foam - The TSBs Breatheasy Foam represents the latest technology for bonding soft bio-compatible material to breathable open cell foam. These breathable bonded foam cuffs provide a cool interface for your patients comfort and protection.
    • Description Lock the heel. Control the ankle. This simple concept is the cornerstone of our Townsend Stability Boot (TSB) technology. When you lock the heel with our patent-pending Stablelock System, you maximize the control, stability and comfort your patient will experience walking in their TSB. The TSB Stablelock System wraps around the heel and supports the posterior aspect of the leg. This adjustable shell allows you to position the midline of the leg with the center of the uprights. By locking your patient in the ideal weight-bearing position, you eliminate the potential for heel glide, and you reduce forces that can cause discomfort at heel strike and toe-off. Combined with the low profile gait-assist design of the TSBs rocker bottom, the Stablelock System ensures your patient will walk comfortably with a near normal gait.

    The original TSB features longer Trueform Uprights that optimize control of the lower leg and foot for a full range of post-surgical and post-injury applications. The longer uprights, supported by the Stablelock System, effectively distribute load and reduce heel strike and toe-off forces to the leg.

    The TSB-MC (Mid-Calf) has shorter Trueform Uprights that make the boot even cooler and lighter than the high top TSB. For certain surgeries and injuries, the shorter TSB-MC is a patient-friendly walking boot.
