Description The TOX A/B QUIK CHEK test is a rapid immunoassay to detect Clostridium difficile toxins A and B in fecal specimens. The test uses antibodies specific for toxins A and B of C. difficile and yields >90% sensitivity and >99% specificity compared to tissue culture. Because the test detects both toxin A and toxin B, the risk of false negative results due to A-/B+ strains is greatly reduced.
