Description The TOPCON PD Meter, Model II, is very simple to use and, furthermore, highly accurate measurements are speedily obtained because it is only necessary to coincide the split halves of the pupils, with internal reading scales then indicating the pupillary distance, as well as nasal-pupillary distances. Since displacements between the centers of spectacle lenses and the visual lines of sight cause serious discomfort and suffering to eyeglass users, the TOPCON PD Meter is recommended for the hospital, ophthalmologist and optician, because such displacements can be eliminated with the accurate pupillary measurements possible on the instrument.
