TC-Plus Solution, PE insert (Cruciate retaining)

ProductsTC-Plus Solution, PE insert (Cruciate retaining)
Company Plus Orthopedics
Item TC-Plus Solution, PE insert (Cruciate retaining)
Features The standard tibial PE insert has a symmetrical oval shape. A posterior cutout has been incorporated to allow for retention of the posterior cruciate ligament. The shape of the articular surfaces are such that the PE contact stresses are minimized for the full range of normal knee motions and rotations up to 15. A precise fit to the tibial component is ensured by the anterior and posterior snappers that lock into corresponding pockets during insertion. As an added measure of security, a centrally located hole allows the tibial component to be fixed with one screw to the tibial component.
Description The TC-PLUS Solution tricompartmental total knee prosthesis stems from many years of experience with knee arthroplasty. State-of-the-art design and manufacturing technologies have been used in order to achieve optimum biomechanical function as well as a favorable pressure distribution pattern on the polyethylene tibial insert to keep wear to a minimum. The inherent design of the components, and the precise bone cuts made possible by the instruments, give excellent primary stability.
