Description Water for Basic Laboratory Needs
Synergy systems produce ultrapure water from pre-treated water at a flow rate from 1 to 1.2 L/min to meet the basic needs of scientific laboratories. The Synergy 185 system incorporates a dual-wavelength UV lamp (185 nm and 254 nm) to produce water with low levels of organic contaminants (< 5 ppb TOC when fed by Elix water). Water quality is easily monitored on the system's two-line alphanumeric display and can be viewed as Resistivity (MWcm) or Conductivity (S/cm), temperature-compensated or not, as required by USP 24.

Applications

  • Preparation of buffers for liquid chromatography
  • Biochemical experiments
  • Isocratic or gradient solutions for HPLC analysis
  • Culture media for bacteriological analysis or cell cultures
  • Solutions for spectrophotometry, spectroscopy, and other analytical techniques
Features
  • Feedwater specific purification packs snap-in and snap-out for replacement
  • Built-in dispense timer for fixed delivery of water between 1 and 45 minutes
  • System monitor automatically informs when cartridge exchange is required
  • System monitor automatically informs when UV lamp needs replacing
