Company Shafer Enterprises LLC
Item Surgeon Cooling System
Features
  • Easy to use
  • Light Weight (10 oz.)
  • Hooded Cool Vest available
  • Any gown can be worn over the Cool Vest including lead aprons and air filtration space suits.
  • Description Studies have shown that the best, least expensive way to prevent hypothermia in patients is to warm the OR to 72-75 degrees, eliminating the need for patient warming devices. The warm operating room, though, can cause the surgical team some heat discomfort. The Cool Vest cooling system can help keep surgeons cool regardless of OR temperatures. The lightweight, easy-to-use vest can be worn under any gown, including lead aprons and air filtration suits. The system utilizes temperature controlled cool water to provide cooling for as long as a procedure lasts. Cool vest allows the surgeon cool, comfortable freedom of movement without causing moving air in the sterile field. Free trials are offered.
