Description The Laserex Super Q is an Nd: YAG laser photodisruptor system that provides a precise and reliable means for performing posterior capsulotomy, iridotomy and pupillary membranectomy. The Super Q delivers benchmark performance in an elegant, lightweight and transportable package.

The Laserex Super Q produces a 1064 nm wavelength treatment laser from a Q-switched Nd: YAG laser cavity located in the system's laser head housing. This laser beam passes through an optical path that includes the following laser modules:
  • attenuator module
  • beam expander module
  • folding mirror module
The Laserex Super Q utilizes the renowned Super Q Technology. The superior performance of the Super Q Technology (solid-state Q-switch) is embedded in the Super Q laser's cavity, providing reliability and longevity. Extensive life testing has determined that the Laserex Super Q has an expected cavity life span in excess of 400,000 shots. With its high maximum output energy and multiple pulse settings, coupled with the industry's fastest firing rate (at 2.3Hz), the Super Q Nd: YAG laser photodisruptor is the highest performing YAG laser in the market today.
