Description	Medline's Steri-Cath™ Closed Ventilation Suction Systems Reduce the Risk of Contamination and Facilitates Constant Patient Ventilation Cost-effective and convenient to use, Medline's Stericath Closed Ventilation Suction Systems reduces the risk of contamination by el iminating clinician contact with the catheter, Steri-Cath™ maintains a sealed airway to reduce exposure to secretions. Oxygen desaturation is also reduced by allowing non-interrupted patient ventilation. The Maxi-Flo calibrated Suction Catheter Provides maximum suction and isdesigned to reduce trauma. The calibrated catheter is soft with a beveled tip which reduces tracheal and carinal trauma. The large inner diameter allows for maximum suction efficiency. Soft, flexible sleeve encloses the catheter to reduce contamination to both health care staff and patient. Patient connections are available as a "T" piece or double swivel elbow. The "T" piece allows direct connection to the trach tube and corrugated tube for ventilation therapy. All kits come with an external swivel, MDI adapter trach removal wedge and patient label. The dual swivel elbow provides double torque relief. An angled patient elbow combined with dual axis swivel, provides torque relief at both thecircuit and airway connection (15mm ID swivel connector at the circuit and 15mm OD swivel connector at the airway).
