Description The Sorting System RSD 800 is an individually configurable System for decapping, sorting and archiving (additional tube type identification via cap recognition is optional) which is able to process various sample tubes in a clearly organized workflow. The input and output sorting areas are customized and offer high capacity. The System can simply be loaded with various tubes in the racks at choice (e.g. centrifuge buckets, analyzer racks or generic racks) and automatically scans the barcode. Tube type and quality can additionally be checked if combined with a camera module (QS I). The tubes are customizable sorted into the racks at choice on the output platform and can be manually transferred directly to the following analysing process. Alternatively, if combined with a recapping unit, tubes can also be finally closed and archived. The RSD 800 has a capacity of up to 800 primary samples per hour and can be combined with the centrifuge modules ACM /ACM-8.
