ProductsSlimline Single-use (SU) pH Catheter with LES locator
Company Medtronic Gastroenterology
Item Slimline Single-use (SU) pH Catheter with LES locator

  • The single-use design eliminates the cost and time of cleaning and disinfection.
  • Internal reference provides more reliable tracings and fewer set-up steps. The reference is located at the distal tip.
  • The tubing body is firm at room temperature to ease intubation, but is soft at body temperature for patient comfort.
  • Frosted tubing creates a slick surface to ease intubation.
Description Slimline single-use pH catheters are efficient, economical, eliminate the risk of cross-contamination and allow greater patient comfort during the test period.

    NOTE:
Medtronic pH measurement systems have been designed to use temperature correction factors that allow an accurate room-temperature calibration. The temperature correction factors for Bravo capsules and Slimline™ catheters have been determined using Medtronic buffer solutions and Hellige electrode gel. To ensure accurate pH recordings, please use only Medtronic pH catheters, Medtronic buffer solutions and Hellige electrode gel (available from Medtronic) with your Medtronic pH measurement system. Slimline catheters are designed to perform identically and use the same temperature correction factors as the equivalent Zinetics™ 24 designs sold previously by Medtronic. Thus, Slimline catheters can be used in pH testing protocols designed for Zinetics 24 pH catheters.
