  • The 4 mm diameter Sheathless Videoscope is available in 30, 45 and 70 angle optics in conjunction with the Eagle Eye III CCD Camera System or with a 35 mm focal length to accommodate other standard video camera heads.
  • The Videoscope is simply threaded into the camera, eliminating the weight and bulkiness of a C-Mount Adapter.
  • The dramatically reduced weight and size of the Sheathless Videoscope and Eagle Eye Camera, in conjunction with the Inflow Cannula System, allow hands-free suspension in the portal if desired.
Description The Sheathless Videoscope represents new thinking to address common problems associated with standard arthroscopes. By eliminating a 5.85 mm diameter outer arthroscope sheath, the shorter, reinforced shaft of the 4 mm diameter Videoscope has superior access and mobility in tighter joint spaces in the knee, schoulder and especially in the elbow and ankle. In conjunction with with joint specific tip threaded cannulas, side port inflow with the Continuous Wave Arthroscopy Pump provides constant, pressure sensitive joint distention during Videoscope portal changes, reduces joint collapse and "red-out inherent to standard scope inflow systems. Maintaining joint distention during portal changes significantly speeds up the procedure and allows rapid Videoscope portal changes at critical phases in arthroscopic repairs without loss of visibility. Extravasation and fluid waste are reduced and the clear, leak-proof inflow cannulas provide a quiet, waveless inflow and pressure sensitive joint distention. The 4 mm diameter Sheathless Videoscope is available in 30, 45 and 70 angle optics in conjunction with the Eagle Eye III CCD Camera System or with a 35 mm focal length to accommodate other standard video camera heads.
