Scorpio Posteriorly Stabilized Single Axis Knee

ProductsScorpio Posteriorly Stabilized Single Axis Knee
Company Stryker Corporation
Item Scorpio Posteriorly Stabilized Single Axis Knee
Features Single A/P radius allows for normal recreation of natural knee kinematics. Single A/P radius designed to improve extensor mechanism function and reduce patello-femoral joint reaction force. Deepened patello-femoral groove designed to reestablish the anatomical surface and to provide for smooth patella tracking through a full range of motion.
Description The Scorpio Knee's single axis design places the center of rotation deeper to the posterior condyles, increasing the length of the patello-femoral moment arm. Quadriceps efficiency may then be increased to provide greater leverage and reduce the amount of force required to achieve full extension.
