Features The S-ROM femoral stem is one-piece, wrought titanium alloy, with strength uncompromised by coating. Standard length stems with 36mm neck with + 21mm calcar replacement are available for both cemented and cementless applications in a wide selection of diameters. Only the S-ROM femoral prosthesis allows the surgeon to place the neck version 360 degrees to the most optimal position, enhancing joint stability to help prevent dislocation. The coronal slot reduces bending stiffness and helps to prevent distal fixation, which leads to stress shielding. Testing (with results published) confirms that the S-ROM femoral prosthesis demonstrates adequate fatigue strength and secure locking of the stem and sleeve components.
Description The proximally modular S-ROM Total Hip System provides custom capability at non-custom prices and is competitive with conventional porous coated systems.
