Features Two versions of simulated temperature control are available on the PxE, one for use with plates and a second for use with tubes. These methods ensure excellent PCR performance by adjusting heating and cooling of the PCR block. Controlling thermal transfer in this way allows users to accurately achieve set protocol parameters because variations in consumable type and sample load are accounted for. For users that have optimized protocols on old thermal cyclers, block control is also available.
Description The PxE Thermal Cycler (PxE) is a licensed 96 well PCR machine, developed to provide all fundamental features for value for money thermal cycling. It is built on the foundation of Thermo's sixteen years experience in manufacturing and retains a high level of accuracy and performance that is synonymous with other products in the range. The combination of robustness, affordability and features evident in more sophisticated machines define its status as a core indispensable tool, for researcher and student alike.
