Features Pro Osteon is harvested from marine coral exoskeletons that are hydrothermally converted to hydroxyapatite, the natural mineral composition of bone. Pro Osteon's interconnected porous structure closely resembles the porosity of human cancellous or cortical bone. Biocompatible and prove effective. Available in wide range of sterile blocks of granules, allows surgeons to easily fit any shape of defect. Available in 200 or 500 micro pore sizes.
Description Pro Osteon Bone Graft Substitutes a natural alternative to autografts. Surgeons can utilize allografts from cadaver bone, but such grafts may introduce the risk of immune response and disease transmission. Interpore Cross has developed the Pro Osteon family of bone graft products to address these needs, offering surgeons a broad range of bone grafting alternatives that mimic the architecture of human cancellous bone in a safe, sterile implant.
