Description Pro Osteon 500R sterile blocks offer an interconnected porosity similar to human cancellous bone. The porous implants serve as a matrix for new bone ingrowth with healing time comparable to autogenous bone grafts. Since bone graft harvesting is not required, patients are not subjected to the trauma, blood loss and morbidity of a second surgical procedure.
