Description Povidone Iodine Topical Gel is a viscous antimicrobial that contains 10% Povidone Iodine USP, 1% available Iodine for broad-spectrum germicidal action. As a preoperative patient prep, Povidone Iodine Gel helps to minimize the pooling of prepping solutions under the patient, thus reducing the chance of patient burns. Povidone Iodine Topical Gel is film forming, creating a desirable residual microbial action that has been known to kill pathogens such as gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria (including antibiotic resistant), fungi, viruses, protozoa, and yeasts. This gel is virtually non-irritating to skin, wounds or mucous membranes and is non-staining to skin or natural fabrics.

Using an innovative one-piece cap and custom molded bottle, Aplicare four ounce bottles are designed specifically to meet the needs of procedural kit and tray manufacturers. The bottle itself has been custom molded to Aplicare specifications to match the cap perfectly. The result is a bottle capable of withstanding deep vacuum ETO cycles.
