Description Transfers depurinated DNA and RNA from agarose gels to hybridization membranes in as little as 15 minutes Increases speed and efficiency of transfer by allowing high pressure to be applied to gel Part of an integrated system allowing electrophoresis, gel treatment, transfer and UV crosslinking in 2.5 hours, versus 29 hours required for conventional methods Positive pressure drives buffer through gel Reduces problem of gel collapse associated with vacuum blotting Pressure Control Station provides variable pressure control for applications requiring pressure range of 0-200 mm Hg
