|Item||Noncon ROBO PACHY SP-9000|
|Description|| The model SP-9000 is exactly the same as the model SP-8800 with one big exception. That is, this model has a separate Pachy mode. This mode has its own fixation targets to allow the movement of the eye in all directions. It allows you to select an area on the cornea to measure the thickness. It also has built-in software to calculate averages of multiple readings in any one area. It displays the results on the monitor and you can print out the results on the optional printer. As with the cell image location indicated, the unit will also identify the location on the cornea in which the measurement was obtained. The information on the thickness of the cornea can also be stored on any of the optional computers.|
Use of the remote control eliminates the need for operator to sit face to face with the patient. This not only utilizes space more wisely, but provides comfort for the patient while photography is in progress. The non-contact feature puts the patient at ease, thus allowing an examination to proceed smoothly, while eliminating the fear of infectious germ transmission. The image is displayed on the monitor in seconds and a hard copy printout is possible at that time. This helps to obtain informed consent quickly.
