|Description|| This is one of our highly featured models. This model has a movable fixation target. The operator can select a target using the mouse to have the patient look at a particular point inside the machine that will allow the unit to photograph a particular area on the cornea. The magic of this model is that after you have taken the picture you can ascertain where on the cornea you have photographed. This is displayed on a low magnification picture of the anterior section of the eye. The picture of a small box will pinpoint exactly where on the cornea it has photographed the cells. This is very valuable when you wish to return to the same location on the cornea after surgery or some other procedure. The SP-8800 will also allow you to perform "Cell Analysis. The image and the results can also be recorded on one of our computer programs.|
The equipment is programmed for analytical computations according to the Center Method. One instrument suffices for both photography and analysis. Data on cell density (pcs/mm2), S.D., C.D., and percentage of hexagonal cell is obtained with 2 to 3 minutes of input operation.
