    • Description At the center of the system is the Nightingale Master Patient Console™ (MPC). The MPC serves as the central monitoring station for the Nightingale Monitoring System. The Nightingale MPC connects to a network of Nightingale PPM bedside patient monitors, allowing a clinician to view information from up to 64 patients at once.

    The MPC is a Windows based workstation combined with advanced telecommunications interface hardware.

    The MPC provides a rich set of features previously found only in high-end intensive care unit monitoring systems, including sophisticated alarm processing logic, trending, and storage of physiological waveform data. Unlike traditional central monitoring stations, the MPC makes these powerful monitoring resources available not only for directly-connected PPM units inside the hospital, but also for remote PPM units, located at satellite clinics or at the patient's home.
