| Features | The enhanced trochlear recess provides for a deeper patellar groove, which helps to improve patellofemoral contact. Compressive stress or pressure on the patella is reduced, helping to reduce forces which can lead to wear. This creates a smooth transition from flexion to extension. |
| Description | The NexGen Legacy LPS Femoral Component is intended for patients who, in the surgeon's judgement, have adequate bone stock and varus/valgus stability, and/or when the surgeon elects to substitute for the posterior cruciate ligament. Fixation options include porous fiber metal, PMMA precoat and non-coated versions. These devices are for cemented use only. |
