Item NUVO Surgical Monitoring System
Features
  • Single- or Dual-Monitor Mounts -- Dual monitor hubs enable users to mount up to two flat-screen LCD monitors from the light mount in addition to a single or dual light. Position the 15- or 19-inch monitors anywhere around the patient -- either separately or together -- providing total freedom for surgeons.
  • Compact and Easily Stored -- Monitors easily fold away providing plenty of headroom for the surgical team when transferring the patient on/off the OR table as well as when the monitor is not in use during a case.
  • Clutter-Free Design -- Our sleek design neatly conceals a critical network of wires and connectors -- protecting them from damage. The smooth design also contribute greatly to the ease of cleaning between cases.
  • Multiple Images Support Real-Time Decisions -- The NUVO Monitoring System comes complete with a Multi-Channel Switching System as standard. It provides the ability to select and display images from a variety of sources -- all selectable from within the sterile field and viewable during surgical procedures.
  • Fully-Integrated System Delivers Optimal Performance with Ease-of-Use -- Our integrated system combines advanced technology with simplicity of use in a seamless package with integrated light and monitoring systems. The entire Light and Monitor System is medical grade and as such is packaged in a user friendly way that significantly reduces the learning curve for users of the system.
  • The NUVO Monitoring System takes Performance to a Whole New Level -- All the electronic circuitry has been designed to protect the signal and display against unwanted interference from other equipment being used in the OR, in particular electro-surgery equipment.
Description Regardless of your procedural specialty, whether it be Endoscopic, Laparoscopic or Arthroscopic, the NUVO Monitoring System will complement the procedure through its combination of superior ergonomics and advanced high-resolution display technology. Unlike monitors that are placed on mobile carts, the NUVO Monitor provides unrestricted positioning to help eliminate a surgeon's neck and back strain while performing a procedure. The use of a second monitor mounted from the same hub affords the same comfort to the assisting physician.

In addition, custom-designed slip rings enable users to continually rotate the monitor around the vertical axis. The counterbalance arm allows users to position the monitor at the optimal height and distance for each surgeon, and the sterile handle on the side of the monitor is readily accessible for minor positioning adjustments during a case. For added convenience, the button located on the end of the sterilizable handle provides the surgeon with access to as many as four different images on each monitor.
