Description Includes base with vacuum stage, porous vacuum plate, reservoir seal O-ring, sealing frame, assorted window gaskets, lid, instructions. The Model 785 vacuum blotter quickly and efficiently transfers DNA or RNA from an agarose gel onto a nylon membrane. Because it generally requires only 90 min for transfer, the nucleic acid samples can be separated on a gel, transferred to a membrane, and the hybridization reaction begun on the same day.
