Features 
Description The Model 583 gel dryer is an electrophoresis gel vacuum dryer that removes liquid from acrylamide and agarose gels and dries these gels onto cellophane or filter paper for long-term storage. The dryer incorporates lid-mounted heater elements which heat gels from above. The drying surface is 35 x 45 cm. This 100-120 V unit includes power cord, porous gel support, transparent sealing gasket, filter paper backing, cellophane membrane backing, sequencing gel filter paper, and instructions.
