Description	Model 4420 Colloid Osmometer. Rapid measurement of colloid osmotic (oncotic) pressure for the prediction of edema onset in clinical situations. Uses a semi-permeable membrane dividing sample and reference chambers to simulate the role of the natural vascular membrane in the establishment of osmotic pressure responsible for water flow between interstitial fluid and blood.
