  • We ensure ongoing compliance with all state and federal regulations and applicable JCAHO standards.
  • The MedCath operating model ensures lower staffing cost through reduction in cath lab personnel and the use of shared resources with other MedCath owned/managed cath labs.

Operational Support

MedCath supports the ongoing operations with constant review of and compliance with JCAHO and CLIA standards. Additionally, we collect and analyze clinical and financial outcome data that is presented to you on a quarterly basis. We provide marketing support to ensure patient/physician awareness of the benefits of the cath lab and increase your referral network. MedCaths constant focus on performance improvement ensures that your facility will provide the highest quality cardiac diagnostic services.

MedCath can also demonstrate the advantages of creating a diagnostic center with additional service capabilities. A multi-disciplinary center can open treatment options, increase efficiency and broaden your potential patient base. We are experienced developers and managers of:

  • Nuclear Cardiology Programs
  • Sleep Centers
  • Enhanced Counterpulsation (ECP) Centers
Description MedCath is the largest and most experienced provider of mobile catheterization services to hospital networks in the United States. Mobile laboratories serving hospital networks are moved, usually on a daily basis, from one hospital to another in a particular hospital network or geographic area. Each mobile laboratory is fully equipped and operated by MedCath medical technicians and nurses, which provide the hospital or physician group with a turn key catheterization laboratory. MedCath's mobile laboratories permit a group of hospitals located in geographic proximity to one another, each with limited cardiovascular patient volume, to offer cardiovascular services through shared access to equipment and personnel. This allows hospitals and physicians to offer cardiovascular care services while avoiding the substantial capital expenditures and operating expenses needed to purchase and operate the equipment required to perform these services.
