Description Microseal 'B' seals provide an adhesive-based sealing option for thermal cycling in thin-wall microplates. The aggressive adhesive layer ensures secure sample storage or transport before or after cycling, and tight sealing during thermal cycling when supplemental pressure is applied by a heated lid. The perforated end-tabs can be removed when using this sealer on semi-skirted microplates or with automated plate handlers. Available alone or as part of the Optical Film Sealing Kit, this clear polyester film allows for easy inspection of sample wells and effective light tramission for optical assays. The robust adhesive is effective from -40C to 110C. Removal of the gold-colored release liner exposes a pristine sealing surface that is process-sampled and tested to be negative for RNase, DNase, and human DNA.
