  • Featuring a wide range of accessories suitable for intraocular or extraocular application, the D.O.R.C. Microdiathermy System offers the best combination of performance and versatility resulting in the preferred system for use during retinal detachment surgery or vitreous surgery.
Description The D.O.R.C. Microdiathermy System features an advanced design, solid state oscillator operating at 13.56 MHz. Research, as well as many years of clinical experience, has established this frequency as the optimum choice for the placement of discrete burns on the pigment epithelium. These localized burns produce the maximum effect at the target tissue with the least possible damage to adjacent tissue such as the sclera and choroid.
