Features High resolution optical image capability. Compact but fully-featured desktop configuration. Mediscan captures digital images in 24 bit color for a wide range of specialties. Mediscan's high image quality is the result of direct image capture through the latest digital acquisition hardware. Captures real-time video in MPEG-2 data format from either s-video or composite video signals. Capture still images. Standard video/still image control screen. Use full screen option for detailed views. Can be manipulated and annotated to add relevant clinical information. Annotations are stored as a separate layer, preserving the original image. Automatic production of referral letters or reports reduces tedium and mistakes.
