Description MedcomSoft Record is a new generation of advanced Electronic Medical Records (EMR) powered by MEDCIN, one of the largest, numerically codified medical vocabularies in the world. With more than 250,000 clinical data elements embedded in MedcomSoft Record, healthcare providers can now record patient data using an easy and intuitive point and click system and produce fine granularity, numerically codified medical charts.

MedcomSoft Record is integrated with a comprehensive set of decision support options. This system enables the healthcare provider to view a list of relevant data elements, differential diagnoses or therapies based on the documented clinical findings. This system can dramatically improve patient care by acting as a comprehensive, clinical reference guide; therefore accelerating care decisions and reducing medical errors.

Physicians, in any specialty, can customize the software to suit particular protocols of care. They can quickly create and save computerized Templates and Forms that follow their method of practicing medicine and include built in clinical decision support tools and alerts . They can be organized to support normal clinical workflow of subjective information gathering, objective assessment, identification of problems and/or diagnoses and the subsequent development of an ongoing plan of care. These Forms can also incorporate best practice, evidence-based, or facility-based guidelines. Alternatively, users may select from MedcomSofts extensive specialty specific library of pre-built intelligent protocols.

MedcomSoft solutions are well suited for any size medical practice, from a solo practice to multi-provider groups. MedcomSoft Record is a secure enterprise wide system designed for networked environments and multi-location practices.
